Singapore Power says 4 ex-staff to be charged for alleged corruption

SINGAPORE Power said four former employees would be charged in court for alleged corruption.
The power company said it had conducted an internal inquiry after it received a complaint against the four. The case was later referred to the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB).
"These four employees resigned or were dismissed by the company between April and September 2015. CPIB has informed us that they have been charged in court for alleged corruption,'' Singapore Power said.
It added that the group takes a serious view of any corrupt act and does not tolerate any employee conduct that is illegal or brings the company into disrepute.
