Hong Kong: Stocks end higher but Shanghai sinks
[HONG KONG] Shares in Hong Kong ended the week on a high Friday after tumbling more than three per cent in the previous two sessions but ongoing concerns about China's economy saw Shanghai check out with heavy losses.
The Hang Seng Index added 0.43 per cent, or 90.34 points, to close at 21,186.32.
Shanghai's composite index lost 1.60 per cent, or 50.34 points, to 3,092.35, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, dropped 3.44 per cent, or 60.42 points, to 1,697.12.
