Greek economic growth raised to 0.9% in second quarter

[ATHENS] Greece's economy expanded 0.9 per cent in the second quarter, slightly higher than the growth estimated in a first reading earlier this month, revised data from the country's statistics service showed on Friday.
Gross domestic product expanded 0.9 per cent from April to June compared to the first quarter based on seasonally adjusted data, above a previous 0.8 per cent flash estimate.
The data confirmed that Greece did not return to a recession this year despite political upheaval.
