BOJ has enough capital buffers to withstand QQE exit: Iwata
[TOKYO] Bank of Japan Deputy Governor Kikuo Iwata said on Tuesday the central bank has enough capital buffers to ensure its balance sheet will not be severely damaged when it exits its massive stimulus programme.
"The BOJ's revenues will change depending on how the bank exits its stimulus programme. We are doing internal estimates on that," which showed the central bank's capital spending will remain firm, Mr Iwata told parliament.
