The out-of-character messages appeared on Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn's Twitter feed late on Sunday, but were soon erased.

[LONDON] The Twitter account of the leader of Britain's main opposition party appeared to have been hacked Sunday, judging by bizarre tweets including one calling Prime Minister David Cameron a "pie".
The out-of-character messages appeared on Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn's Twitter feed late on Sunday, but were soon erased.
No one has claimed responsibility for the prank.
"davey cameron is a pie" one of the messages read, while another used foul language to make reference to Mr Corbyn's opposition to Britain's nuclear defence system.
The tweets were shared hundreds of times before being erased and Internet users were soon sharing screenshots of the offending messages.
Britain's Press Association quoted an unnamed source close to Mr Corbyn on the incident.

[LONDON] "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" broke records in China with US$53 million in ticket sales on its first weekend, propelling the movie to become the third highest-grossing film globally in history, Walt Disney Co said on Sunday.
The China figures represent the highest Saturday or Sunday movie opening in the country in industry history, the Disney film studio said in a statement.
Internationally, "The Force Awakens," the seventh installment in the science fiction franchise created by George Lucas, brought its worldwide haul to US$1.73 billion, Disney said. It has now shot past "Jurassic World's" US$1.67 billion global gross to become the third biggest movie ever.
China will help decide if "Force Awakens" tops "Avatar" as the highest-grossing film in Hollywood history. "Avatar" took in US$2.8 billion after its December 2009 debut.

The "Star Wars" film saga that began in 1977 had not been a cultural phenomenon in China like it was in other countries. The original movies weren't shown in Chinese theaters until last June. Disney launched a marketing blitz to build buzz, featuring 500 Stormtroopers on the Great Wall and promotions with a pop star dubbed China's answer to Justin Bieber.
[LOS ANGELES] The Playboy Mansion, reputedly host to some of America's most raucous parties and other shenanigans too graphic for print, is up for sale for US$200 million US media said on Saturday.
Home of Playboy magazine founder Hugh Hefner, 89, the notorious building will be listed within the next month, celebrity website TMZ reported.
Playboy Enterprises is seeking upwards of US$200 million, but TMZ, citing real-estate sources in the area of Holmby Hills - close to Beverly Hills - said the mansion is more likely to go for between US$80 million and US$90 million.
Prospective buyers can tour the sprawling property, but one area is off-limits - Mr Hefner's bedroom, TMZ said.
It also said that any sale comes with a major catch - whoever buys it must give Mr Hefner a life estate, meaning he can continue to live in the mansion until he dies.

[SAN FRANCISCO] Tesla Motors Inc Chief Executive Officer Elon Musk said within two years a customer would be able to summon an electric car to drive autonomously from Los Angeles to New York.
"I might be slightly optimistic on that, but I don't think significantly optimistic that we can do that in two years," Mr Musk said in a press conference on Sunday. He added that it should be technically feasible to have fully autonomous vehicles within 24 to 36 months.
The comments come after the company announced a software upgrade that will enable owners of Model S sedans to park them in a garage or in perpendicular spaces without a driver at the wheel. Mr Musk called this a "baby step" in the development of driver-less cars.
Owners of Model S sedans will be able to park them while standing outside the vehicle if it's within 10m of a garage or narrow space, Tesla said on the eve of the Detroit auto show. The cars can also be summoned from a parking spot, according to the company, which said the tools remain in a beta, or test, version. Model X owners will have the capability in a few weeks, spokeswoman Khobi Brooklyn said in an e-mailed statement.

EXPANDS AUTOPILOT
The upgrade also restricts automated steering on residential roads and streets without a center divider, and will limit the vehicles' speed, Tesla said in an e-mailed statement.
Tesla's so-called 7.1 software update expands on the Autopilot features unveiled in October, which let cars change lanes with turn signals and parallel park.
The functions are a step toward the vision of autonomous or self-driving cars - a pursuit that's stirring interest across the auto industry and beyond.
Technology giant Google Inc is working on driver-less cars, and automotive titans General Motors Co and Ford Motor Co are also pushing in that direction. GM said last week it will invest US$500 million in Lyft Inc and work with the ride- sharing company to develop a network of self-driving cars.
Tesla, co-founded by billionaire Musk, has distinguished itself by automatically pushing over-the-air software updates to customers, refreshing the vehicles with new and enhanced functions.
